ATC

Hello Crafters!

As every monday there is a brand new challange over Simon Says Stamp! And as announced in this post, I am very happy to be their first Guest Designer!

The theme for this Monday Challange Blog su Simon Says Stamp! is STENCIL IT!

So, grab your favorite stencils and use them your most creative way possible!

As you might learned by now...I love ATC! and... I love stencils, so what is better for me to mix all my favorite things all together!? nothing! LOL!! so here's how I interpreted this week theme!

I made an ATC using as the base Tim Holtz Distress Watercolor Cardstock,, I cut it to size and I mixed a bit of Tim Holtz Distress Paint Twisted Citron, Tim Holtz Distress Paint Cracked Pistachio and Tim Holtz Distress Paint Mermaid Lagoon to create a nice background.

I also used Tim Holtz Distress Paint Stormy Sky through two stencils I decided to use to decorate my ATC Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Lattice Work and Tim Holtz Layering Stencil Dot Fade .

I stamped the background with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Correspondence and Archival Ink Jet Black

To decorate the ATC I used Tim Holtz Idea-ology Journaling Tickets Altered Vintage Paper, that I also stamped with Tim Holtz Cling Rubber Stamps Correspondence and Archival Ink Jet Black!

The photo is cut from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Photobooth Vintage Photos and of course the sentiment is a sticker from Tim Holtz Idea-ology Small Talk.

To create the envelope I used Ranger Manila #8 Tag folded in 3 parts and I simply covered it with Dina Wakley White Gesso and then I decorated it as I did with the ATC.

Then I stamped with the same stamps and again, I sewed all around the envelope.

And here is the final project, what do you think about it?

Sketch Book

Hello Crafters!
Today you will find me over ColourArte's blog where I will show you how I made my cover for my new sketch book!
To those who do not know, every year I make my self a sketchbook that I use to gather ideas, draw sketches, write down words or simply I use it as "mojo kick starter".
This sketchbook is made with scrap paper that are in different shape, size that I stash every year. Then when I gather enough pages, I staple or stitch them together!

Usually the cover is made with plain fabric or canvas...this year I decided to make it by my self!

Yes because I personally draw this face!!! Yep, yep, you can laugh at her funny chin! LOL!

Hello Crafters!
Today I have an awesome news to share with you! For the month of January I will be Guest Designer over Simon Says Stamp! This is also a new thing for the Monday Challange, so to be the first Guest Designer double the happiness and honor!

So without any further ado, here is the first challange of the 2016 over Simon Says Stamp Monday Challange!

Theme is "SOMETHING NEW"! This theme is really easy and it allows you to touch different interpretations! The team over Simon Says Stamp will also use Tim Holtz's products... I used some too, did you recognize them already!?

Every time I think at the theme "something new" I think at butterflies! Nothing in Nature make me think about "new" than butterflies! They are "born" when something else "ends" and every ends...is always a new beginning...

So I altered a canvas!

I covered the canvas using pieces of paper from the collection Tim Holtz Idea-ology 12x12 Paper Stash Crowded Attic to glue the paper down i used Ranger Multi Medium Matte Paint Glue then I covered the sides of the canvas with tissue tape Tim Holtz Idea-olody Tissue Tape Symphony Music Self Adhesive Vintage Paper.

I covered the canvas with Dina Wakley Ranger Gesso , I let it dry and then I added colors using Distress Ink as "water colors ". I used Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Fossilized Amber , Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Mermaid Lagoon , Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Walnut Stain and Tim Holtz Distress Ink Pad Black Soot to darken up the borders.

To embellish the canvas I used die cuts. I used Ranger Black Cardstock as base and I cut out a butterfly from Tim Holtz Sizzix Die Butterfly Duo and I used Tim Holtz Sizzix Tattered Pinecone ti cut out three roses. To make sure that the dies were playable I also stick it down Ranger Foil Cardstock on the back of the black cardstock before sending it through the big shot.

The last touches were to add a bit of sparkle and shine with Ranger Perfect Pearls Interference Green, Ranger Perfect Pearls Interferente Blue , Tim Holtz Distress Paint Antiqued Bronze , Tim Holtz Distress Paint Tarnished Brass. I glued a charm over the butterfly from the Tim Holtz Idea-ology Pen Nibs .

and finally, my wording are stickers from these stickers sheet Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2015 Occasions Small Talk Stickers , Tim Holtz Idea-ology 2015 Small Talk Stickers.
